Congratulations on your place at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School

We are looking forward to working with the Year 6 pupils who are going to join us in September. You should have already heard from the local authority through which you applied, who will have detailed any action you need to take with them.

You will have received an email welcoming you all to our school community. Within this email are the links to the on-line forms that are needed to be completed in full before the end of May.

If you believe your child has a place at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School for September 2025 and you have not yet received an email inviting you to complete your details, please contact the transitions team on transitions@epchs.co.uk.

Extra Transitions Day     Wednesday 2nd July               9am – 12.45pm

Transitions Day          Thursday 3rd July                 9am – 2.45pm

New Parents Evening      Thursday 3rd July                  6pm

Summer School         Mon 28th July – Friday 1st August    9.30am – 1pm    

If your child has any concerns about starting school in September, this short video may help. In the meantime, Mrs V Marsland (our transition lead) and Mrs E Nelson (Year 7 Pastoral Leader), have contacted all primary schools to collect student information and assist with the smooth transition from primary into secondary education for your child.

We collect information from the primary school where your child currently attends but to ensure we have the most up to date and accurate information and contact details, please ensure you have completed the online admission form sent to you via email at the beginning of March. Please read through the Starting at Your New School & Uniform booklet before completing the forms so you have all the information relating to starting at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School, as well as the policies & procedures we have in place.
