Collective Worship
Our school is a proud Christian community rooted in Christ and the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church. We seek to provide our students with a holistic education encompassing spiritual development and social growth within an inclusive and loving learning environment. We believe prayer is central to a person’s spiritual journey, thus our students start each school day with a prayer or liturgically themed reflection. Moreover, we aim to provide regular tutor group and year group Chapel experiences and retreat days, have a staff who understand and appreciate the privilege and magnitude of their vocation, organise weekly Mass and endeavour to imbue an ethos of love, charity and acceptance.
Our school’s Mission Statement is found in St. John’s Gospel (10:10) when Christ says, “I have come so that they may have life, and have it to the full.” As a Catholic community, we are constantly looking to Christ’s example, who teaches us to love God and our neighbour. We believe that through this love adjoined with prayer we “may have life, and have it to the full”.
